Uncle Matt and Melissa vist for the weekend

Well we're through the first week and 5 days. It's sad and amazing that I, Josh, have to go back to work tomorrow. This weekend Matt and Melissa visited and met Nate. We've been figuring out a flow of things and it seems like we're getting it down. It's usually about three or four hours of sleep at a time all night and feeding about every 3 hours all day long with diapers in between. Sound like your experience? He's a great eater and a great sleeper and a great pooper. What can we say, he's great!

Matt and Melissa were great guests as well. They made us, Melissa made us, some great Thai food for dinner. They took Doc for a walk and were generally helpful. Melissa even left us a very sweet thank you card. This week Grandma and Grampa Lamb are coming for a visit. That will help out and be nice to see them. Grampa Hetherington and Carole and Lia are planning on coming sometime later in April or May. They're all excited to see Nate again too.

Grampa Lamb loves Nate

Nate is lucky to have such good grandparents on both sides.

Doc loves Nate

Doc is going to be Nate's best friend for a while. Here he is licking Nate's head. We're so glad we didn't get a pit bull!

He's here!!

well, he's here. Here is a picture. I can hear him starting to stir in the bedroom. He's in his crib for the first time tonight and we're trying to get him use to sleeping a bit without us holding onto him- and sleeping at night. Wow, parenting is seriously a 24 hour a day job. He's great and we're loving every minute, well most minutes. maybe in a few weeks we'll be ready to hang it up, but for now we are totally loving it.

I lost the bet

Ok, I was betting on 3/6/08 for the birthday. Nope. Oh well. Not the first time I've been wrong and not the last. Jenni is doing well and she's betting it will all happen sometime next week- after the due date. One thing is for sure- it's gonna happen.
