It is truly amazing how time flies. We've been having a fairly good summer with some of the usual stresses of work. Nate has had a good time, and we've had a good time with him. He remains a shinning spot for both of us. I think we live for his laugh. It is incredible how my priorities have shifted. Sure, work is stressful, but somehow it doesn't seem to matter all that much when I'm putting him to sleep at the end of the day.
At this point he's running, climbing, going down the slide by himself, eating all kinds of stuff, saying "down", "Doc", "Momma", "
Dadda" (and frequently "Josh"), and the other day he said back clear as a bell- "Shit" after hearing one of us get frustrated. He's 33 inches tall, which seems amazing. I'm wondering if he's going to be a big guy like his uncle Marty, or uncle Matt.
Life is good with Nate. He's our favorite little boy.
We'll put up some pictures soon.
